Comms Department, Ministry of Culture, KSA

Canvas Central was awarded a one-year contract by the Ministry of Culture, KSA to develop and manage the ‘International Media Team’ for the comms department, whose responsibility it would be to translate, create and distribute content from Arabic to English, French and Chinese.

Governance & Team Set Up

Canvas Central was in charge of the complete governance and set-up of the team, including the structure, searching for, hiring and managing team members and workflow.

The team included Canvas Central’s KSA-based project manager, a head of department, team leads for each language, translators, writers, editors, proofreaders and more.

Outputs

– 500+ pieces of content generated across formats (Articles, PRLs, Social Media including Weibo)

– 600+ pieces of content published across online, social and print media

All content created had to be translated and edited or
re-written, keeping in mind local nuances and the different international audiences according to each language.
